Funny, I keep thinking about leaning into the pain or discomfort in this life. Not sure what you've been dwelling on, but I like the image and thought. Leaning into our life, rather than escaping, does cause growth.
Perhaps it is the temptation to escape that I have felt so acutely this year. Lots of questions. Feeling out the foundation under my feet. Maybe for the first time in my life really leaning into the pain and discomfort. When I saw the seedlings, it comforted me somehow. An encouragement to lean in to light even when it is not my natural tendency to do so. To be present in it. Or maybe its just that I'm so thrilled to see spring!
